OK , it is that time of year again.

Who plans to attend Fools and which weekend works best ?

I perfer the odds of better weather that late April holds over early April.

I say , the 24th .

What say you ?

Keep in mind : Easter is the weekend of the 3rd and 4th !

The later the better. Gives me extra time to make sure I'm there with the new rig.

Here's a thought.  Broncorama is always the first Saturday in  May.  I have a feeling it will be big this year.  Maybe we all plan on meeting up at Broncorama and then maybe convince Frenchy that we need to camp at Bronco Heaven Saturday night (BYOFT - Bring Your Own Folding Table).  ;)   Then wheel Sunday.  Maybe Frenchy can hook us up at the Buffalo Ranch again.  That was a blast.  And we all know about destructive the quarry at the Badlands has been lately.  :(

Hate to be the party pooper, but my youngest will have a 5 year old B-day party the last weekend in April. But it doesn't really matter as I won't have a truck at the event. Anybody got a seat?

I like the idea of the day after Broncorama as well as April 17th for my 1/2.vote.w/out.a.truck.

If I am up and running, I vote for the Badlands.

If I am not running by then, I would like to grab a seat in someone's truck AT THE BADLANDS. :dunno:

"April Fool's Run",

............not "April Fool's show and shine.

No offense to anyone, but I want to wheel. Not go to a car show. :snore:

Precisely.  If I wanted to wipe a car down with a diaper, I would have bought a Mustang.  ;)
But...I might ask... who WILL have a truck this year?  I too will likely be out and told HoosierDaddy to check the interest.  It would sad to see a year go by without the event, and maybe I'm getting less foolish in my old age, but I'm not really interested in bubblegumming my truck together to run for one weekend.  The days of the $500. behind the barn trail beater seem long gone.  :pain:  Just my 2 cents.  Party pooper admin. :P

Here's the deal, Fools.  Unless I hear a giant war cry otherwise, an "official" Fools 6 is going to be postponed until further notice.

While this great tradition of spring Badlands debauchery is going to be sadly missed, it doesn't make sense give the absentee list that I'm looking at.  Personally, I know I won't have anything ready by then and it seems I'm not alone on the build front.  If someone else is interested in heading up the charge this spring - SPEAK UP!  Otherwise, let's get some chatter on a LONG overdue SUMMER Badlands or Dunes rendezvous.

I won't have anything ready for fools, but doesn't mean I wouldn't go. Being the old man of the group I vote for a fools run this summer at silver lake. We could even try to schedule it so the Michigan Bronco Club could meet with us also. That would be alot of EB's on the sand. There's great campgrounds, hotels, cabins and lots to do uptown after the dunes closes. Just my 2 cents
