Thanks guys, Beadlocks were finished yesterday. Maybe I'll have rubber on it next week.  I think about it all week and cram as much stuff into on Saturdays.

Lot of stuff to go- don't know if it will make it for Fools.

P,

Did you get those frame measurements you needed yet?  Call me later today or anytime tomorrow.  I can run out there and measure what you need if you still need 'em.

Nope. Sent a few feelers out. With the chill I really don't blame anyone but would like to level it our tommorrow.

The rear buckets are mounted too low. I need a measurement from a level truck on level ground, the distance from the ground to the frame at the point of the floorboard body and the body mount behind the front seats. The diference I have on my blue EB is 3-1/2" but the ground is not level.

sweathog I can tell you how high the mount is from the top of frame if that will help can't tell height from ground because of the lift, my body is off the frame so let me know if that will help.

21 1/2" from floor to top of frame mount - just below body bushing
25 1/2" from floor to top of frame mount - just below body bushing

I can't guarantee my floor is 100% level, Paul, but measurement seem right.  :?
This is the '77 (good original stock springs and stock size tires).

Good luck, dude.

Got a bit further with the cage. The rear springs are out of the upper buckets and the frame is sitting on blocks.  What a difference 2" make.

The floor and firewall are in 2 pcs They are there for reference. There is not much of the tub to use.

Yep, thanks for asking. Cage is almost done. Most of it I like but I am second guesing some of the tube bends/placement. Anyone up for being critic? I'll throw a few pics up later.

Need to spend time in the yard looking for a 351W 4x4 oil pan. Then its time for headers and exhaust.

My little guy has been playing hockey on the weekends and thats been more fun than building in a cold garage.

Tired, aggravated should cleaned the mess up. You can get the overall design.  I am going to cover the cab w/ sheetmetal as a half cab, add a prerunner style stinger to the front. The firewall is just laying there as a reference. I am really hoping to get all buttoned up this weekend

view 2. The vision is starting to appear. Of course, its not the original. The rise in the rear of the frame rail needed to be dealt with.
